What do angels look like?

<< What do angels look like? >> this question is a gentle echo that often resounds in the minds and hearts that think of them. It is a big question and for the moment unanswered, but like all big and unanswered questions, it can take us through wonderful journeys. Personally, I have never had any doubts about the appearance of angels: for me, they are all different from each other. Very kind creatures, full of light but different because we are all children of a good and very creative God. When I was writing "Best Friends" I spent a lot of time just imagining the details of each angel: their hands, their hair, their eyes, their magnificent wings. It was a wonderful time full of light and which left me with a sense of peace throughout the day. I have always imagined angels tender and small as children, angels strong and tall as formidable warriors and a myriad of different, cheerful and multifaceted angels endowed with infinite gifts and talents. And always all very busy with something. I also spent a lot of time thinking about their clothes… Sure, because everyone who has a job needs a suitable outfit. So why not think of a beautifully dressed Heavenly Court? Or to an Army? Or to an Orchestra? Cloaks, jewels, luminous crowns… But also weapons, shields, swords and mysterious objects have always been before my eyes like an immense painting full of life. No, I have never believed in angels all the same, without a name and dressed only in a white tunic. One day, all these mysteries will be no longer be mysteries, but in the meantime, let them make us dream of the most beautiful world imaginable.
